MEET
MONY SODHI
Mony Sodhi is a Vancouver-born REALTOR® with a lifelong connection to real estate, business, and the community he proudly calls home. Raised in Vancouver, Mony was introduced to the industry at a young age through his father, a respected realtor and developer throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. Many of his earliest memories involve attending open houses and visiting real estate offices with his father, where he developed a deep appreciation for property, development, and investment.
His connection to the industry began even earlier when, as a child, he delivered the Real Estate Weekly newspaper throughout his neighbourhood. Those early experiences sparked a passion that would eventually shape his professional path.
With more than 25 years of experience in sales, entrepreneurship, and client advisory, Mony brings strong negotiation skills, financial insight, and strategic thinking to every transaction. He has been actively investing in real estate since the age of 19, personally buying, renovating, and selling properties over the years. This hands-on investment experience gives him a practical understanding of market cycles, property value, and long-term wealth building through real estate.
In addition to his real estate career, Mony is a professional Accountant and the founder of his own accounting firm, where he advises clients on financial planning, taxation, and business growth strategies. He is also a licensed Immigration Consultant, helping individuals and families navigate the Canadian immigration system with clarity and confidence. His multidisciplinary background allows him to provide clients with a well-rounded perspective that combines real estate expertise with financial and immigration insight.
Professional Experience & Achievements
Mony’s professional foundation is built on both real estate and business expertise. For over a decade, he has worked closely alongside his wife, Sepy Kopahi, a top-producing REALTOR® with RE/MAX City Realty. Through years of collaboration and involvement in transactions across Greater Vancouver, he has developed extensive experience in the real estate process and built strong industry relationships.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Taxation after studying at Capilano University and Simon Fraser University.
Since 2003, Mony has successfully operated HM Tax & Accounting, advising individuals and businesses on financial strategy, taxation, and long-term planning. He is also a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and the founder of Sodhi & Associates and Landscape Immigration Solutions, helping families and entrepreneurs establish new lives and opportunities in Canada.
His diverse professional background allows him to approach real estate with a comprehensive perspective that combines financial expertise, investment strategy, and client advocacy.
PERSONAL LIFE
Outside of business, Mony is a devoted husband and father who values family, discipline, and community. He and his wife Sepy have been together for 17 years and married for 10 years, raising their daughter Ayla and son Ayden in the city they both love. Their family also includes their beloved dog, Cookie. Mony has always maintained a passion for sports and an active lifestyle. Growing up he played hockey, basketball, and soccer, and he continues to stay active through martial arts and fitness. He holds a black belt in Hap Ki Do and has also trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing. Each morning begins with a workout in his home gym, reflecting his belief that health is wealth. A proud supporter of his hometown, Mony has been a Vancouver Canucks season ticket holder for more than two decades and enjoys attending games with family, friends, and clients. Giving back is also important to him. Mony is a proud donor to BC Children’s Hospital, a place that holds special meaning for his family, as both of his children were born there and he himself was born there in 1980.
